• Sales +15.0% to EUR 460.7 million
• EBIT +17.4% to EUR 31.5 million
• Earnings per share 1.32 EUR after 1.32 EUR before
• Dividend proposal EUR 0.40

The earnings target of BWT Group in the year 2010 to compensate for the
extraordinary gain of EUR 4.5 million from the sale of a participation realized
in 2009 by considerably increasing EBIT was met. In the year 2010, consolidated
Group sales of BWT grew by 15.0% to EUR 460.7 million. The new pharma companies,
BWT UK and the Point-of-Use (PoU) business particularly contributed to overall
growth, PoU now accounting for 6.3% of Group sales.
EBIT rose by 17.4% to EUR 31.5 million. Earnings before taxes were EUR 31.3
million in 2010 exceeding last year´s figure of EUR 31.2 million by 2.9%. Due to
higher taxes on earnings, net income decreased by 1.1% from EUR 23.1 million to
EUR 22.8 million. Earnings per share remained unchanged at EUR 1.32.

Gearing (net debt related to equity) has improved from 11.7% to 6.0% as has the
equity ratio from 48.5% to 51.0%. Due to the good net result and the solid
balance sheet situation and despite the big investment programme, the Management
Board plans to propose the Annual General Meeting to pay an unchanged dividend
of EUR 0.40 per share.

The final figures as well as the annual financial report will be disclosed on
1/4/2011.
