on "New Security Challenges"
2010 ACUNS Annual Meeting at Vienna (3-5 June 2010)

Wednesday, 2 June 2010, at 11.00 a.m.,

at the International Club, Foreign Policy and United Nations
Association of Austria
Vienna Hofburg/Stallburg, 1010 Vienna, Reitschulgasse 2/2OG.

Prominent panelists of the ACUNS Conference including HANS BLIX,
former Director-General, International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)
and MANFRED NOWAK, UN Special Rapporteur on Torture, as well as ACUNS
Executive Director PATRICIA GOFF will brief you on the Conference.
The Conference will bring together some 600 participants including
high-ranking current and former UN officials, academics and
researchers to review new security challenges confronting
Governments, international organizations and citizens,to find new
innovative concepts going beyond traditional national security
approaches to meet these threats. They will discuss a new agenda for
human rights, the UN under fire, and nuclear and small arms
proliferation.

Refreshments will be served.
