AvW Invest AG hereby announces that the originally scheduled date for the
publication of the 2009 financial statements will be postponed from 23 April
2010 to 17 May 2010. This postponement is caused by a slight delay in completing
the required financial documentation. Therefore, the auditing company, Moore
Stephens Ehrenböck Wirtschaftsprüfung Steuerberatung GmbH, A-2620 Neunkirchen,
Schwarzottstraße 2a, is unable to complete the audit of the financial statements
within the originally stipulated period.

The key problem is that apparently a further delay has arisen in producing the
expert opinion commissioned from Dr. Kleiner by the public prosecutor´s office.
Moore Stephens Ehrenböck have strongly advised us to postpone the preparation of
the annual financial statements until such time as Dr. Kleiner´s expert opinion
has been submitted, because in the auditor´s view the opinion will contain
information that is relevant for the annual financial statements, both in terms
of AvW´s operation as a going concern and also with regard to the amounts to be
allocated to provisions. The findings of the expert opinion will also impact the
preparation of the notes and the management report.

For the reasons outlined above, AvW Invest AG will not be able to publish its
annual financial report for the 2009 financial year, including the auditor´s
report and opinion, at the originally stipulated date. Publication is now
scheduled for 17 May 2010.
The Annual General Meeting of AvW Invest AG will be held on 22 June 2010.
