Cologne, December 8th 2009. Vivacon AG (ISIN 000604 8911) has signed a purchase
contract with CONSUS Property Group AG, about the 80% stake in Curanis Holding
GmbH as well as a residential portfolio.

With the disposal of the 80% stake in Curanis Vivacon close down its property
management activities to further focus on its activities in asset management of
leasehold portfolios.

The residential portfolio compromises about 734 units with a total area of
approximately 47,000 sqm. The units are located predominantly in North
Rhine-Westphalia and Bremen.

The transaction is an important part in the context of the ongoing restructuring
of the Vivacon AG group. The disposal leads to a reduction of bank liabilities
in the amount of approximately EUR 44m.
