CENTURY CASINOS GIBT 100%-EIGENTUM AM CENTURY CASINO & HOTEL IN CENTRAL CITY,
COLORADO, BEKANNT

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado - Century Casinos, Inc. (The NASDAQ Capital Market®
und Wiener Börse: CNTY) gab heute bekannt, dass das Unternehmen die restlichen
35% aller ausgegebenen und ausstehenden Gesellschaftsanteile von CC Tollgate LLC
("Tollgate") erworben hat, welche von Central City Venture LLC ("Venture"),
einem nicht verbundenen US-Unternehmen, gehalten worden waren. Tollgate besitzt
und betreibt das Century Casino & Hotel in Central City, Colorado. Die
Transaktion wurde per 31. Dezember 2007 abgeschlossen.

Der Kaufpreis für den 35% Anteil beträgt $2,1 Millionen. Zusätzlich wurde an
Venture ein $1,0 Million Darlehen zurückgezahlt, welches Tollgate von Venture
gewährt worden war, sowie $0,2 Millionen an aufgelaufenen Zinsen. Da die
Gesellschaft ursprünglich die Verluste von Tollgate mit dem $1,0 Million
Darlehen gegengerechnet hatte, wird die Gesellschaft, in Übereinstimmung mit den
US Rechnungslegungsvorschriften, die Rückzahlung des $1,0 Million Darlehens
als Aufwand in der Ergebnisrechnung des vierten Quartals 2007 ausweisen.

Seit der Eröffnung im Juli 2006 hat das Century Casino & Hotel ein beständiges
Wachstum seiner betrieblichen Nettoerlöse und des bereinigten EBITDA*
aufgewiesen. Der Erwerb der restlichen 35% der Anteile an CC Tollgate LLC wird
keine Auswirkung auf das bereinigte EBITDA* haben, da der Anteil der
Minderheitsgesellschafter am Nettoverlust nach dem bereinigten EBITDA*
ausgewiesen wurde. Nettogewinn bzw. Nettoverlust werden allerdings von nun an
zu 100% (anstatt der bisherigen 65%) dargestellt. Das Century Casino & Hotel
betreibt derzeit 576 Spielautomaten, 9 Spieltische, 26 Hotelzimmer und 2
Restaurants. Die Gesellschaft besitzt nun auch eine Liegenschaft gegenüber dem
Casino, mit einer möglichen Gesamtausbaufläche von ca. 3.000 m2, wobei noch
nicht über deren Nutzung entschieden wurde.

associated with the varying levels of capital expenditures for infrastructure
required to generate revenue, and the often high cost of acquiring existing
operations. EBITDA (Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and
amortization) is used by our lending institutions to gauge operating
performance. The Company´s computation of Adjusted EBITDA may be different from,
and therefore may not be comparable to, similar measures used by other
companies. Not all of the aforementioned benefits and costs occur in each
reporting period, but have been included in the definition based on historic
activity.
