Wien, 18. Juli 2006: Nach Standard & Poors hat mit Fitch Rating nun auch eine
zweite international bekannte Ratung Agentur der Meinl European Land ein
"Investment Grade" Rating erteilt. Fitch bewertet die Gesellschaft im
Zusammenhang mit unbesicherten Anleihen mit einem BBB- und die
Unternehmensaussichten als "Stable", was für Immobiliengesellschaften eine
hervorragende Bewertung ist. Das von Fitch erteilte kurzfristige Rating ist mit
F-3 ebenfalls positiv bewertet.

Wie gestern bekannt gegeben beabsichtigt Meinl European Land ein
Anleihenprogramm mit einem Gesamtvolumen von bis zu EUR 2 Mrd. aufzulegen, das
von Merrill Lynch und der Meinl Bank gemeinsam im Lead Management platziert
werden soll. Die Anleihe, die in mehreren Tranchen abrufbar ist, richtet sich an
institutionelle Investoren.
