Der Vorstand der Volkswagen AG teilt mit, daß der Bezugspreis für
die 3.000.000 neuen auf den Inhaber lautenden Stammaktien auf DM
1.010,- je Aktie im Nennbetrag von DM 50,festgelegt wurde.

Die neuen Aktien werden den Stamm- und Vorzugsaktionären in der
Zeit vom 25. März bis 7. April 1998 im Verhältnis 13:1 zum Bezug
angeboten. Die weiteren Einzelheiten sind dem Bezugsangebot zu
entnehmen, das Samstag, den 21. März 1998, in der Börsenzeitung und
der Frankfurter Allgemeinen Zeitung veröffentlicht wird.
