The strategies of Austria’s super-rich

Porsche & Piëch, Mayr-Melnhof and Mateschitz, to name but a few: surprisingly little is known about the wealth structures of Austria’s richest families. Researchers in Linz have conducted a study analyzing the economic networks surrounding the country’s “oligarchic wealth elite.” The findings highlight the strategies of a minority of the super-rich that fuel inequality.
