Media lack sense of responsibility when covering terrorism

A research team in the field of public mental health is investigating how the media report on terrorist acts, how this affects the public, and whether attentiveness to wording can contribute to prevention. An initial finding of the ongoing study: established recommendations on the sensitive presentation of such events are virtually never applied.
