European politics under the spell of conspiracy-theories

In the course of the COVID-19 pandemic, conspiracy theories became a politically relevant phenomenon. In an international project, researchers at the University of Salzburg are investigating how these narratives have a political impact in the areas of migration, climate change, and Covid, what strategies populist parties are pursuing with them, and how one can develop counter-narratives.
