Steyr Automotive and SuperPanther develop new electric truck

At the IAA TRANSPORTATION 2024 in Hanover, Steyr Automotive and SuperPanther announced a strategic partnership for the development of competitive electric trucks.

The first outcome of this partnership, the electric truck eTopas 600, makes a stunning debut at the IAA. The eTopas 600 is equipped with high-efficiency LFP batteries with driving range of 500 km. The eTopas 600 is set to enter mass production at Steyr Automotive by the end of 2025.

Additionally, the launch of eEmerald series was also announced, which will include three models offering various powertrains, ranges, and cabin configurations to meet diverse customer needs. These models will also feature SuperPanther’s core self-developed systems, demonstrating powerful advantages in terms of performance, winter operation, and vehicle longevity. The eEmerald series is also expected to enter mass production by the end of 2025.
