On March 5, 2013, Abdiel Qualified Master Fund LP, Camana Bay, Cayman Islands,
has notified us pursuant to section 21 (1) WpHG that its percentage of voting
rights in SMT Scharf AG, Hamm, Germany, has exceeded the threshold of 3% and
amounted to 3.02% (126,745 voting rights) as of March 5, 2013.

Of these voting rights, 3.02% (126,745 voting rights) are attributed to them
pursuant to section 22 (1) sentence 1 no. 2 WpHG.
