Vienna, 27 February 2013 - Today the Telekom Austria Group (VSE: TKA, OTC US:
TKAGY) announces that the supervisory board of Telekom Austria Group unanimously
re-elected Hannes Ametsreiter as Chief Executive Officer of Telekom Austria
Group. The current appointment, which expires on 31 December 2013, is prolonged
for three years, with the possibility of a further extension of two years.

Since 1 April 2009 Hannes Ametsreiter has been the chairman of the management
board and CEO of Telekom Austria Group. In addition, Hannes Ametsreiter has been
the CEO of A1 Telekom Austria since 2010.
