Subtitle: Barracuda Networks AG (former phion AG) increases earnings compared to
last year.

Innsbruck (euro adhoc) - The former phion AG, now Barracuda Networks AG (since
31 July 2010), as part of the globally operating Barracuda group stands for the
most comprehensive product portfolio for IT security, network and storage
solutions available on the market today.

Sales revenues of Barracuda Networks AG in the fiscal year 2010/11 were 9.6
million EUR (FY: 2009/10: 6.8 million EUR). EBITDA was 449,000 Euro (FY 2009/10:
-3.2 million EUR), operating income after depreciation and amortization could be
improved to -45,000 EUR, whereas in the previous fiscal year it was -3.7 million
EUR.
The development of deferred income, that is, future revenue already secured at
this point, continues to be positive: As at 28 February 2011, it amounts to just
below 4,5 million EUR.
The management of Barracuda Networks AG is pleased with the development of the
fiscal year 2010/11. The new market strength can, among others, be attributed to
the strategic partnership with Barracuda Networks Inc.

Barracuda Networks AG is listed on the Vienna Stock Exchange (mid market
segment) since 4 July 2007, trading is effected on the Third Market (ISIN:
AT0000PHION3). Since start of the current financial year (1 March 2010 until 28
February 2011) all the company´s financial statements are prepared according to
Austrian GAAP (UGB)
Share capital of phion is 800,000 EUR, divided into 800,000 ordinary bearer
shares. At present (as at 19 May 2011), Barracuda Networks Inc. holds 81.84% of
the company shares, Donau Invest holds 5.04%, the rest (13.12%) is free float.
