Büdelsdorf, 20 May 2011 - The Supervisory Board of freenet AG today decided to
propose Dr. Hartmut Schenk, a tax consultant from Saarbrücken, and Mr. Niclas
Rauscher, an auditor and tax consultant from Leipzig, as candidates for the
freenet AG Supervisory Board elections to the ordinary Annual General Meeting
on 30 June 2011. They would succeed Thorsten Kraemer and Prof. Dr. Helmut
Thoma, who will resign from the Supervisory Board with effect from the end of
this year´s Annual General Meeting.
Dr. Hartmut Schenk, currently chairman of the Supervisory Board of Drillisch
AG, has made a binding advance declaration that, should he be elected to the
Supervisory Board of freenet AG, he will resign from all boards and committees
of Drillisch AG and its associated companies by the end of the ordinary Annual
General Meeting of freenet AG, and will not take on any board mandates at
Drillisch AG and its associated companies for the duration of his Supervisory
Board mandate at freenet AG.
