Büdelsdorf, 18. Mai 2011 - the Chairman of the freenet AG Supervisory Board,
Mr. Thorsten Kraemer, today notified the company´s Executive and Supervisory
Boards of his decision to resign his mandate on the freenet AG Supervisory Board
with effect from the end of this year´s Annual General Meeting on 30 June 2011
for personal reasons. Mr. Thorsten Kraemer has sat on the company´s Supervisory
Board since 2007.
Mr. Prof. Dr. Helmut Thoma has also announced his resignation from the board
with effect from the end of this year´s Annual General Meeting on 30 June 2011.
Mr. Prof. Dr. Thoma has been a member of the Supervisory Board since 2005 and
had also sat on the predecessor companies´ Supervisory Boards since 1998.
