Santa Ana, California, and Ismaning, Germany, March 24, 2011 (euro adhoc) -

today announced that two of its executives will speak at the 2011 ID World
conference, being held April 3-4, 2011 at The Yas Hotel in Abu Dhabi.

ID World is an annual summit for technology and security decision makers in
Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), focused on highlighting RFID, smart
cards, biometrics and data collection technologies, resources and trends.

Rob Zivney, Identive´s Vice President Government & Standards, will present as
part of the conference´s Citizen ID forum on April 3. In his role as Chair of
the Security Industry Standards Council and Chair of the PIV Working Group of
the Security Industry Association, Zivney will discuss the role of identity
management as relates to applying logical and physical security to critical
infrastructure, with an emphasis on government program initiatives and the
regulatory landscape in the U.S.

Dr. Manfred Mueller, Executive Vice President of Identive and Chief Executive
Officer of SCM Microsystems, will participate in a panel entitled "CEO Vision -
ID Technology Outlook" on April 4. Dr. Mueller will discuss how electronic IDs
are at last moving beyond their traditional limited usage in public
administration, as new approaches create broad user appeal with a balance of
security and convenience.
