Leipzig, 7th February 2011 (euro adhoc) - Karl Heinz Warum has strengthened the
Supervisory Board of the controlling body of Softline AG. The 57-year old
replaces the previous Supervisory Board member, Christian von Sydow, who was
active in the Supervisory Board of Softline AG since 2007 and retired from the
position for personal reasons.

"I am delighted that Karl Heinz Warum will enrich the Supervisory Board. He is
not only an expert in the industry but also an experienced IT manager", says
Bernhard von Minckwitz, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Softline AG. At the
same time, he said good-bye to Mr von Sydow in his capacity as a Supervisory
Board member: "On behalf of the whole Supervisory Board, I would like to express
my recognition to Mr von Sydow for his efforts and his dedication and thank him
for his excellent work and his commitment."

company.", Karl Heinz Warum stated. A native Carinthian, Warum was appointed
managing director of Wyse Technology GmbH in March 2010 and in addition to
Germany, is also the responsible sales director for the Central and Eastern
European markets. Prior to that, Mr. Warum was successfully employed with Citrix
Systems GmbH for twelve years as managing director and Senior Area Vice
President Central and Eastern Europe.
