Koblenz (euro adhoc) - November 18, 2010: CompuGroup Medical AG has yesterday
entered into an agreement for the purchase of HealthPort´s Solution Services
Division assets. The Solution Services Division includes practice management
software, electronic health records and revenue cycle management software for
approximately 3,600 physicians.

HealthPort´s Solution Services Division includes a strong product and service
offering serving physician practices, community health centers and hospitals.
The product portfolio, made up of both acquired and developed solutions, is a
strong strategic fit for CompuGroup Medical´s USA business because of the
additional customer base for considerable revenue growth from cross-selling
current products and sales of new products. There is also a strong fit with the
customer management, marketing and innovation strategies of the fast growing
CompuGroup Medical USA business.

The adoption rate of electronic healthcare records is expected to accelerate in
the US market because of federal government incentives in the amount of
approximately 20 billion US dollars offered for achieving meaningful-use
capabilities to improve overall patient quality outcomes. With the acquisition
of HealthPort´s Solution Services Division, CompuGroup Medical AG follows its
strategy of a continues growth consistently of its, at this stage greatest
coverage among healthcare providers worldwide (physicians, dentists, hospitals
etc.).
