Pursuant to Section 21 Para. 1 WpHG Meritus Trust Company Limited notified us
that on September 22, 2010 they acquired from Butterfield Trust (Bermuda)
Limited all shares in Linetrust PTC Ltd and through this acquisition the
percentage of voting rights in K+S Aktiengesellschaft exceeded the thresholds of
3%, 5% and 10% and amounts to 14.8588% (28,439,789 voting rights) as per the end
of the aforementioned day.

All these voting rights are attributed to Meritus Trust Company Limited pursuant
to Sections 22 para 1 sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG.

Voting rights that are attributed to Meritus Trust Company Limited are held via
the following companies which are controlled by Meritus Trust Company Limited
and whose holding of voting rights amounts to 3% or more in K+S
Aktiengesellschaft: EuroChem International Holding B.V., which is an undertaking
indirectly controlled by Meritus Trust Company Limited through Linetrust PTC
Ltd., Linea Ltd., Eurochem Group SE (until September 22, 2010 MCC Holding Public
Company Limited) and OJSC MCC "EuroChem", directly holds 9.998 per cent
(19,136,595 voting rights).
Eurochem Group SE which is an undertaking indirectly controlled by Meritus Trust
Company Limited as described in the previous sentence, directly holds 4.8606 per
cent (9,303,194 voting rights).

b) Bank of N.T. Butterfield & Son Limited, Hamilton, Bermuda
Details of the notifying parties:
1. The Bank of N.T.Butterfield & Son Limited, Hamilton, Bermuda
2. Butterfield Trust (Bermuda) Limited, Hamilton, Bermuda

The Bank of N.T.Butterfield & Son Limited, who controls Butterfield Trust
(Bermuda) Limited, notified us in their name and on behalf of the latter
regarding the holding of voting rights in K+S Aktiengesellschaft.

Pursuant to Section 21 para. 1 WpHG The Bank of N.T.Butterfield & Son Limited
notified us that on September 22, 2010 their percentage of voting rights in K+S
Aktiengesellschaft fell below the thresholds of 10%, 5% and 3% and fell to 0% (0
voting rights) on that day through Butterfield Trust (Bermuda) Limited disposing
of all of its shareholding in Linetrust PTC Limited and thereby indirectly in
K+S Aktiengesellschaft, namely indirectly of 14.8588 % (28,439,789 voting
rights) in K+S Aktiengesellschaft in favour of Meritus Trust Company Limited.

Pursuant to Section 21 para. 1 WpHG The Bank of N.T.Butterfield & Son Limited
notified us in the name and on behalf of Butterfield Trust (Bermuda) Limited
that its percentage of voting rights in K+S Aktiengesellschaft fell below the
thresholds of 10%, 5% and 3% on September 22, 2010 and fell to 0% (0 voting
rights).
