EANS-News: USU acquires MODON as its first customer in Saudi Arabia

Möglingen (euro adhoc) - For the transparent control of its IT, Saudi Arabian
company MODON will, in future, use the central solutions of the integrated USU
Product Line, Valuemation. The Saudi Industrial Property Authority (MODON) is
the government authority responsible for the development and expansion of
industrial regions.

Central processes, such as installation, relocations, configuration changes, and
IT contract management will be optimized with Valuemation. This requires a
transparent IT infrastructure. At the top of the agenda is the establishment of
a standard IT service management system. The service processes will be based on
the guidelines of the ITIL industry standard. In addition to this, in future
another USU application will support MODON's service organization: with the help
of USU KnowledgeCenter, service staff will then be able to use an intelligent
central knowledge database.

MODON chose USU technology because of its many years of good experiences working
with the Saudi USU competence partner NOMD and due to the many different
functions and the integration capability of Valuemation. NOMD acts as a
strategic partner to market the Valuemation und USU KnowledgeCenter product
lines in Saudi Arabia on the basis of a reseller and service provision
agreement.
