1. According to section 21 para. 1 WpHG notification was given that SGG HOLDINGS
S.A. (Luxemburg, Luxemburg) on 31. March 2010 passed over the threshold of 3% of
the voting rights in Arcandor AG (Essen, Germany) and on that day held 4.80%
(12,145,217 voting rights). All of these voting rights are attributed to SGG
HOLDINGS S.A. pursuant to section 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG.

The chain of the companies controlled by SGG HOLDINGS S.A. is:

2. Furthermore, notification was given according to section 21 para. 1 WpHG that
SGG S.A. (Luxemburg, Luxemburg ) on 22. April 2010 fell below the threshold of
3% of the voting rights in Arcandor AG (Essen, Germany) and on that day held
2,63 % (6.668.110 voting rights, calculated on the basis of total voting rights
of 253,226,080).

All of these voting rights are attributed to SGG S.A. pursuant to section 22
para. 1 sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG.

3. Furthermore, notification was given according to section 21 para. 1 WpHG

threshold of 3% of the voting rights in Arcandor AG (Essen, Germany) and on that
day held 2,63 % (6.668.110 voting rights, calculated on the basis of total
