Air Berlin PLC once again reviewed whether between the years 2006 and 2009 it
had disclosed all changes in voting rights, in each case, in the manner required
pursuant to clause § 26 of the WpHG (German Securities Trading Act). This
resulted from the question whether disclosures of changes in voting rights,
which are required under English law, to which Air Berlin is also subject, might
not have been made. This additional review prompted Air Berlin to disclose the
following voting rights notifications / TR1-notices. The disclosure is made
irrespective of whether the relevant proportional voting rights have
subsequently changed.

London, 30 April 2010 - Air Berlin PLC was informed on 17 May 2006 that the
voting rights of COMINVEST Asset Management GmbH, a subsidiary of Commerzbank
AG, had exceeded the 5% threshold and as of 15 May 2006 held 5.33% of the voting
rights in Air Berlin PLC. Previously the voting rights share amounted to below
3.00%.

Air Berlin PLC was informed on 18 August 2006 that the voting rights of
COMINVEST Asset Management GmbH, a subsidiary of Commerzbank AG, had fallen
below the 5% threshold and as of 17 August 2006 held 4.29% of the voting rights
in Air Berlin PLC. Previously the voting rights share amounted to 5.33%.

Air Berlin PLC was informed on 16 October 2006 that the voting rights of
COMINVEST Asset Management GmbH, a subsidiary of Commerzbank AG, had fallen
below the 3% threshold and as of 13 October 2006 held 2.955% of the voting
rights in Air Berlin PLC. Previously the voting rights share amounted to below
4.29%.
