Air Berlin PLC once again reviewed whether between the years 2006 and 2009 it
had disclosed all changes in voting rights, in each case, in the manner required
pursuant to clause § 26 of the WpHG (German Securities Trading Act). This
resulted from the question whether disclosures of changes in voting rights,
which are required under English law, to which Air Berlin is also subject, might
not have been made. This additional review prompted Air Berlin to disclose the
following voting rights notifications / TR1-notices. The disclosure is made
irrespective of whether the relevant proportional voting rights have
subsequently changed.

Air Berlin PLC was informed that AI Aviation Coöperatief U.A. held 0.0% of the
voting rights in Air Berlin PLC on 8 January 2009. Previously the voting rights
share amounted to 18.94%.
