Zumikon (euro adhoc) - Accel Energy AG (Frankfurt: ACY) announces signing a long
term contract for the technology and manufacturing of a new alterative energy
product skylight with SunPort Industries of USA. Rights to manufacture from
China for worldwide distribution are in place and the company has the exclusive
rights to sell the product in its primary territories of China and Jordan which
serves the Middle East region.

Solar energy production has been identified by the company as its current focus
since solar technology has virtually universal application in all industries;
directly and massively. Research indicates that the harnessing of the sun´s
energy for two hours a day would meet the entire world´s energy needs for a
year. With increasing economic development worldwide, Accel recognizes the
growing need for energy and is committed to accessing the most efficient
alternative energy sources available that will have the least negative impact on
the environment.

The SunPort technology brings natural sunlight indoors and integrates with new
or existing artificial lights through an innovative control system. This ensures
that a constant light level is maintained throughout the building, day and
night, and minimizes the amount of electricity consumed.

Annual sales for skylights in the China market are already at 350 million USD
with a projected growth of 20% and the government is planning 530 billion USD
investments in alternative energy. Skylights are being used in building for
every industry sector from manufacturing to hotels to farming. In addition to
new construction, there is a massive renovation project of old style glass roof
factories to incorporate new skylight technology.

With its long established energy and construction network, Accel is in a strong
position to capitalize on the demand for these new energy and building
technologies. The company plans to capture 2-5% of this market with in the first
two years.
