London (euro adhoc) - It has very recently been brought to the attention of the
Directors of Petrocapital Resources Plc ("Petrocapital" or the "Company") that
various press announcements in Germany have been released without the knowledge
or authorisation of the full Board of the Company.

The Company has a trading facility on the Xetra market in Frankfurt, where there
is no official news distribution service similar to that available on PLUS.

The current Directors are now aware of announcements which were released in
Germany on the following dates which purported to be official announcements of
the Company:

19 April 2009
17 August 2009
16 September 2009
18 September 2009
22 September 2009
8 October 2009

These releases mainly make reference to a proposed `reverse share split´
(effectively a share capital consolidation), to changes to the Board of the
Company and a potential major transaction.

The Directors wish to make clear that they were not aware of these
announcements, they were released without their knowledge or authorisation and
all such announcements are factually incorrect, in particular the Directors
would like to stress that (i) neither Mr Alexander Holtermann nor Mr Rod W.
Husband are directors of the Company nor are their appointments under
consideration by the Board; and (ii) no "reverse share split" or share capital
consolidation is under consideration or proposed. The Directors further
highlight that there may be other further announcements in Germany purporting
similar news of which the current Board are also not aware.

The Directors are seeking legal advice and undertaking an investigation
regarding this matter.

The Directors confirm that all official announcements of the Company are
currently and will in future always be released on PLUS and shareholders wishing
to obtain current information on the Company should do so at
www.plusmarketsgroup.com.
