informed us on September 21, 2009 that their shares of voting stocks in Wincor
Nixdorf AG, Paderborn, Germany, went above the threshold of 5% of the total
voting stocks of Wincor Nixdorf on September 17, 2009.

The percentage of voting rights of Threadneedle Asset Management Limited in
Wincor Nixdorf AG at September 17, 2009 amounted to 5.076% (1,679,514 shares).
These voting rights are in their entirety attributable to Threadneedle Asset
Management Limited pursuant to § 22 para. 1 sent. 1 No. 6 WpHG.

The percentage of voting rights of Threadneedle Asset Management Holdings SÁRL
in Wincor Nixdorf AG at September 17, 2009 amounted to 5.080% (1,680,571
shares). These voting rights are in their entirety attributable to Threadneedle
Asset Management Holdings SÁRL pursuant to § 22 para. 1 sent. 1 No. 6, sent. 2
and sent. 3 WpHG.
