Berlin (euro adhoc) - Stock exchange-listed medical device technology
manufacturer WORLD OF MEDICINE today announced a personnel change to its
Supervisory Board. Mr. Ralf Michels has been appointed to the new Supervisory
Board, effective September 16, 2009. Mr. Michels succeeds Rainer Bauer, who
resigned as member on September 15, 2009 due to his extensive professional
commitments.

The new Supervisory Board member, Mr. Michels, possesses several years of
experience in the medical and commercial sectors. For 14 years, he acted as
Chief Director of HELIOS Kliniken GmbH, where he played a decisive role in its
expansion.

dedicated collaboration as member of the Supervisory Board of W.O.M. WORLD OF
