Preliminary financial figures for the first quarter 2009

Einhell Germany AG announces following at the Entry and General Standard
Conference in Frankfurt:

According to the preliminary financial figures the turnover in the first 3
months of the financial year 2009 amounts to around Euro 91 million
(previous year: Euro 97.6 million)

Earnings before tax will probably reach a profit margin of around 5%.

In spite of the difficult worldwide economic conditions the Einhell group has
reached for the first quarter 2009 also a good result and thus proves a further
sustainable profitability also in a very difficult market area.
