Securities Trading Act (WpHG - German Stock Exchange Act):

Management Board in a letter dated August 6, 2008:

"Notification pursuant to Section 21 para 1 (Stimmrechtsmitteilung) and Section
24 of the German Securities Trading Act concerning Solar-Fabrik
Aktiengesellschaft für Produktion & Vertrieb von solartechnischen Produkten
("Solar-Fabrik AG")
Morgan Stanley, with address at The Corporation Trust Company, Corporation Trust
Center, 1209 Orange Street, Wilmington, Delaware DE 19801, USA ("Morgan
Stanley"), herewith notifies you on its own behalf and on behalf of such further
subsidiaries as mentioned below pursuant Section 21 para 1 and Section 24 German
Securities Trading Act that:

1) MSDW Equity Finance Services I (Cayman) Ltd. P.O.Box 309GT, Ugland House,
South Church Street, George Town, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands on 01 August,
2008, has exceeded the thresholds of 3% of the voting rights of Solar-Fabrik AG,
Munzinger Str. 10, 79111 Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany, and on that day holds
3.49% of the voting rights (=407,701 shares each carrying one voting right); and

2) The holding entitiy of MSDW Equity Finance Services I (Cayman) Ltd, MSDW
Offshore Equity Services Inc., The Corporation Trust Company, The Corporation
Trust Center, Wilmington, Delaware DE 19801, USA, on 01 August 2008, has also
exceeded the thresholds of 3% of the voting rights of Solar-Fabrik AG, Munzinger
Str. 10, 79111 Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany, and on that day holds 3.49%
(=407,701 shares each carrying one voting right) whereby the aforementioned
voting rights have to be attributed pursuant to Section 22 para. 1 sent. 1 No. 1
German Securities Trading Act.

3) The holding parent entity Morgan Stanley, The Corporation Trust Company, The
Corporation Trust Center, 1209 Orange Street, Wilmington, Delaware DE 19801,
USA, on 01 August 2008, has also exceeded the thresholds of 3%, of the voting
rights of Solar-Fabrik AG, Munzinger Str. 10, 79111 Freiburg im Breisgau,
Germany and on that day holds 3.49% (=407,701 shares, each carrying one voting
right) whereby these 3.49% (407,701 shares, each carrying one voting right) of
the voting rights of Solar-Fabrik AG have to be attributed according to Section
22 para. 2 sent 1 No. 1 German Securities Trading Act.
