Oldenburg/Prenzlau. aleo solar AG [ISIN: DE000A0JM634] has announced revenue of
approximately EUR242.1 million for financial year 2007, according to preliminary
calculations. This exceeds the figure for the previous year (EUR130.4 million)
by around 86%. In total, 34.5% of revenue was generated abroad (previous year:
15.5%). EBIT amounted to EUR15.7 million (previous year: EUR9.6 million). The
EBIT margin remained solid at 6.5%. aleo solar's workforce grew to 555 employees
at year-end (previous year: 316).

The 2007 annual report containing the final figures is expected to be published
on 27 March 2008.

Due to the growth in the European solar market, aleo solar is expecting
consolidated revenue of at least EUR330 million for 2008. Approximately 40% will
be generated abroad. The Management Board is forecasting a continued solid EBIT
margin. aleo solar AG is systematically pursuing its plans for growth: the
aggregate production capacity will be expanded from 100 to 180 megawatts by the
end of 2008.

For 2009, aleo solar AG is expecting another increase in revenue to at least
EUR380 million.
