Hörsching, January 9, 2008 (VSE: PYT) - Sales of POLYTEC GROUP increased in the
business year 2007, as a consequence of closed acquisitions, to EUR 664 Mill.
EUR. This equals an increase of 27% compared to 525 Mill. EUR in 2006.
Sales of POLYTEC COMPOSITES GERMANY GROUP (former Menzolit Fibron) are included
as of April 1, 2007. Sales of POLYTEC Intex (former ISE Intex) are includes as
of July 1, 2007.
Further more a noticeable increase in net income and hence also of earnings per
share can be confirmed. As the final results for the business year 2007 will
also be positively influenced by on off effects caused by effects out of the
acquisitions, a detailed guidance can not be made. The final impact of these on
off effects will be calculated during the consolidation process.
As a result of the development of POLYTEC GROUP, a noticeable higher dividend
will be paid to shareholders.
The integration and reorganisation of in 2007 acquired companies is doing a good
progress. The capacity utilisation of the composite plants is, especially as a
result of a sustainable positive development in the truck and commercial vehicle
industry, on a high level.
For the business year 2008 POLYTEC GROUP expects, as a consequence of the full
year effect of in 2007 acquired companies, an increase in sales to approx. 800
Mill. EUR.
The full year results 2007 will be published on April 2, 2008. The AGM ist on
May 21, 2008
