On October 6th, 2007 Bajaj Auto International Holdings B.V., Claude Debussylaan
24, 1082 MD Amsterdam, P.O. Box 75288, 1070 AG Amsterdam, Netherlands, 100%
subsidiary of Bajaj Auto Limited seated in Akurdi, Pune 411035, Maharastra,
India, has acquired more shares of KTM Power Sports AG.

With previously acquired shares, Bajaj Auto International Holdings B.V.
therefore now holds voting rights of 15.23% of KTM Power Sports AG.

Consequently, Bajaj Auto International Holdings B.V. holds voting rights and
share in the capital stock of KTM Power Sports AG of more than 15%, but not more
than 20%.
