Please be advised that on 10 May 2007 the share of voting stocks of the above
mentioned companies in ElringKlinger AG, Max-Eyth-Straße 2, 72581
Dettingen/Erms, Germany went above the threshold of 3% the total voting stocks
of the company.

The percentage of voting rights of Threadneedle Asset Management Limited in
ElringKlinger AG at 10 May 2007 amounted to 3.045% (584,660 shares). These
voting rights are in their entirety attributable to Threadneedle Asset
Management Limited pursuant to § 22 para. 1 sent. 1 No. 6 WpHG.
