Change in Supervisory Board following takeover by ISRA

Aachen (euro adhoc) - 2 August 2007. Parsytec AG - the world's leading supplier
of surface and web inspection systems for strip products - has announced the
resignation of the members of its Supervisory Board with immediate effect.

Today, the current Supervisory Board members Rolf Geisen, Siegfried Hoffmann and
Dr Günter Bleimann-Gather resigned their positions with immediate effect. The
Company intends to apply to the Aachen Local Court to have Messrs Prof Dr
Henning Tolle, Prof Dr Folker Weißgerber und Dr-Ing h.c. Heribert J. Wiedenhues
appointed as its new members of the Supervisory Board.

"Job done," explained the resigning Chairman of the Supervisory Board Rolf
Geisen. "We came here on 1 February with the aim of finding a new strategic home
for Parsytec. Thanks to the committed support of the Executive Board and the
management team, the investment bank Lincoln International and, of course, the
former majority shareholder we have achieved this in a remarkably short time
with the acquisition of a majority of shares by ISRA VISION AG. The joint market
presence in the area of surface and web inspection and machine vision means
security for the future, innovation and growth for customers, shareholders and
employees. We are particularly glad that high-quality jobs have been secured for
Aachen through ISRA."

The three members of the designated Supervisory Board are experienced, former
top managers and scientists.

The Executive Board thanks the departing members of the Supervisory Board on
behalf of the Company for their outstanding contribution to the rapid
implementation of the M&A transaction and wishes the new Supervisory Board every
success in leveraging the synergy potential.
