Constance , 21 May 2007 -Sunways AG is expecting delivery of two reactors for
the production of polysilicon in June 2007. Together with Solmic and other
suppliers, Sunways AG has assembled the complete equipment required for
production activities after of the so-called "Siemens process". The reactors
operating in accordance with this method have a capacity of 300t/a and will also
enable the production of monocrystalline silicon.

In connection with the measures already initiated in 2006 to secure the raw
material supply, Sunways AG commissioned the construction of the two reactors,
as the availability of reactors for the production of high-purity silicon
constitutes a bottleneck in the market. Sunways is currently in negotiations
with respect to a potential location for the plant. In view of the polysilicon
production volumes to be expected from 2008 onwards, Sunways AG has entered into
a long-term supply contract with a cooperation partner and received a down
payment for future shipments in the amount of 10 million Euro.
