(Berlin, May 11, 2007) Chief Financial Officer Andreas Schröteler is resigning
from the Management Board of W.O.M. WORLD OF MEDICINE AG by mutual agreement
and on the best of terms.

Hence, the Management Board of WORLD OF MEDICINE consists of two individuals at
present: CEO and Company Founder Peter P. Wiest, and COO Dr. Clemens Scholz.

Mr. Schröteler's former areas of responsibility - Accounting, Controlling,
Investor Relations and Human Resources - will be assumed ad interim by WORLD OF
MEDICINE CEO Mr. Peter P. Wiest. The IT and Materials Management Departments
will be assigned to the responsibility of COO Dr. Clemens Scholz.

The Supervisory Board and the Management Board wish to express their deepest
gratitude to Mr. Andreas Schröteler for his outstanding contributions,
especially during the successful corporate restructuring efforts involving the
"Core" and "Profit" programs. We wish him continued success in his future
endeavors.
