Bielefeld, 19 May 2006: The SYNAXON Group recorded an increase in revenue and
earnings in the first quarter of 2006. Revenue rose by 38.7%, from EUR 4,111
thousand a year ago to EUR 5,701 thousand as at March 31, 2006. Operating profit
grew by 42.9% to EUR 620 thousand (31/03/05: EUR 434 thousand). Earnings before
taxes and minority interests amounted to EUR 653 thousand in Q1 2006, compared
with EUR 502 thousand for the same period a year ago. Within this context, it
should be noted that AKCENT Computerpartner Deutschland AG was included in the
consolidated group effective from December 31, 2005, and was thus not accounted
for in the Q1 2005 results. Adjusted for AKCENT, consolidated revenue amounted
to EUR 5,077 thousand as at March 31, 2006, while earnings before taxes and
minority interests stood at EUR 551 thousand.
The net profit for the SYNAXON Group rose by 27.3%, from EUR 245 thousand in Q1
2005 to EUR 312 thousand as at March 31, 2006. This corresponds to earnings per
share of EUR 0.09 (31/03/05: EUR 0.07).

Cash flow from operating activities increased from EUR 311 thousand in Q1 2005
to EUR 909 thousand as at March 31, 2006.
