Berlin (euro adhoc) - The annual financial statements 2005 of Pongs & Zahn AG,
Berlin, have been ascertained and approved today.

In the business year 2005 the company realised sales revenue amounting to EUR
50.5 mill. and thus more than quintupled the reference value of the previous
year (previous year: EUR 10.0 mill.). This income is comprised almost entirely
of trading transactions with plastics raw materials and related industrial
products executed by Pongs & Zahn on its own behalf and for its own account.
This development is the result of the continuous expansion of its trading
business with major international customers that had already begun at the end of
2004 and which was carried forward during the year under review. The total
output of Pongs & Zahn AG, consisting of sales income and other operating
income, came to EUR 52.7 million during the year under review (2005: EUR 10.7
million).

We report a net profit for the year 2005 of EUR 0.8 mill. (previous year: net
loss for the year EUR -0.5 mill.). The company’s equity of EUR 51.6 mill. as of
December 31 of the financial year 2005 has risen compared with the previous year
(2005: EUR 46.2 mill.). In the view of an increase of the balance sheet total by
EUR 9.7 mill., the equity ratio has been again slightly reduced to 72%
(previous year: 75.1 %).

The CEO will propose to the annual general meeting to carry forward the net
profit totalling EUR 4.174 mill. (previous year: EUR 3.419 mill.) to new
account.
