Intercell AG (VSE, "ICLL") today announced that the following persons have
resigned as members of the supervisory board of the company:

Emilio A. Emini, who joined Intercell’s Supervisory Board in January 2005, has
taken on new challenges within the vaccine industry and will head vaccine
research and development as Executive Vice President at the pharmaceutical
company Wyeth.

Cathrin Petty, who represented the private equity firm Apax on Intercell’s
Supervisory Board, resigns from her position.

Therefore, the Supervisory Board of Intercell now consists of the following
members: Ernst-Günter Afting (Chairman), David Ebsworth, Luke Evnin, Michel
Gréco, Hans Küpper, Helmut Schühsler and James Sulat.

The Board of Directors wish to thank the members of the Supervisory Board who
