Nissan Europe Announces Executive Appointments
Trappes, France (ots/PRNewswire) - Paul Willcox has been appointed
by Nissan Europe, as its new Vice President for Marketing, replacing
Volker Brien. In this role, Willcox will oversee Nissan's marketing
and advertising activities in over 30 countries across Europe and
will report directly to Brian Carolin, Senior Vice President, Sales
and Marketing.
Willcox, 42, joins the company from Nissan Motor GB Ltd (NMGB)
where he was Marketing Director for two years, overseeing the brand
strategy for Nissan's largest European market. Previously, Willcox
held a number of marketing and pricing strategy positions within
Nissan starting in 1991 at both NMGB and also Nissan Europe. Prior to
Nissan, Willcox worked at Peugeot having joined as a graduate
trainee.

combined with his experience at the sales company level, he will play
a vital role in helping Nissan's future growth for Europe," said

Willcox is married with three children and holds a BSc Honours
degree in Management Sciences from the University of Lancaster, UK.
Nissan Europe appoints new Vice President, Human Resources and
General Affairs Nick Noda has been appointed as Nissan Europe's new
Vice President Human Resources and General Affairs based in Trappes,
France. Noda replaces Marie-Francoise Damesin who left to become
Senior Vice President of Communications at Renault last month and
reports directly to Dominique Thormann, SVP Administration and
Finance.
Noda, 49, has over 20 years experience within Nissan, mostly at
Nissan Motor Company Ltd (NML) in Japan where he joined the Zama
plant in the Personnel Section in 1980. His experience in personnel
includes four years at Nissan North America (NNA) as senior manager,
human resources both in Los Angeles and Smyrna before returning to
Nissan in Japan. For the past 2 years, Noda has been responsible for
career development at Nissan Europe and now also takes responsibility
for general affairs in his new role as Vice President.
Dominique Thormann said, "With Nick's extensive knowledge of
Nissan and his proven leadership skills, I'm confident he will
further strengthen the Nissan Europe team."
Noda is married with two children and holds a bachelor's
degree in Sociology from Hitotsubashi University.
