VIVACON AG acquires 1,252 residential units

Cologne, October 18th 2005. VIVACON AG (ISIN 000604 8911) has acquired a
portfolio of 1.252 residential units in Cologne, Nürnberg and Duisburg. The
total living area comprises approx. 81.100 sqm.

VIVACON AG intends to sell the portfolios under leasehold terms in the near term.
