OnVista AG (DE0005461602) has exceeded its own expectations in the second
quarter of 2005 as well as in the entire 6 months period. The company recorded
substantial growth and operated in the black in all performance categories.

In the second quarter of 2005, group sales amounted to Euro 2.22 mill. This
represents an increase of 32% compared to the same period last year (Q2/04: Euro
1.69 mill.). In the first half of the year, sales totalled Euro 4.22 mill. (6
mths./04: Euro 3.24 mill., +30%). Group sales are generated entirely in the
Media business segment.

From Q1 to Q2 all key performance figures improved and were positive. Due to the
investments in the healthcare portal and the strongly developing, profitable
performance marketing business, some key performance figures fell below those
recorded in the corresponding period last year, as planned. In 2005 as a whole,
on the other hand, the company expects to substantially exceed last year's
figures.

In the second quarter of 2005, EBITDA was positive at Euro 0.16 mill. (Q2/04:
Euro 0.16 mill.; -2.7%). EBIT amounted to '000 Euro 52 (Q2/04: Euro 0.13 mill.,
-59%). The pre-tax group result - which also takes into account the investment
result generated through IS.Teledata AG (= Technologies segment performance,
Q2/05: ‘000 Euro 93) and the interest income (Q2/05: Euro 0.18 mill., -17%) -
reached Euro 0.33 mill. in Q2/05 (Q2/04: Euro 0.33 mill., -0.8%). After tax, the
group net income totalled Euro 0.23 mill. (Q2/05: Euro 0.20 mill., +14%). The
earnings per share stood at Euro 0.03 (Q2/04: Euro 0.03). The pre-tax profit to
sales ratio came to 15%.

In the entire six months period, the OnVista Group recorded EBITDA in the amount
of Euro 0.24 mill. (6 mths./04: Euro 0.40 mill., -40%) with EBIT amounting to
'000 Euro 22 (6 mths./04: Euro 0.19 mill., -88%). IS.Teledata contributed an
investment result of Euro 0,22 mill. (6 mths./04: ‘000 Euro 21). The accumulated
pre-tax group result totalled Euro 0.63 mill. (6 mths./04: Euro 0.69 mill.,
-4.7%) and the after-tax group result amounted to Euro 0.43 mill. (6 mths./04:
Euro 0.40 mill., +8.5%). The earnings per share stood at Euro 0.07 (6 mths./04:
Euro 0.06).

Both operating business segments contributed to the positive group performance.

As at 30 June 2005, cash and cash equivalents of the OnVista Group amounted to
Euro 22.75 mill. (31.12.2004: Euro 22.61 mill.). The cash value per share stood
at Euro 3.39 (31.12.2004: Euro 3.38).

As a result of the encouraging order book for the coming months, the Executive
Board of OnVista AG expects a strong second half of the year and has reaffirmed
its annual projections. For the financial year 2005 OnVista AG envisages group
sales in excess of Euro 8 mill. This would correspond to an increase of more
than 15% compared to 2004. The rise in the group pre-tax result is to be even
more distinct, namely around 50% (2004: Euro 0.92 mill.).
