Cologne, 3 August 2005 - DocCheck(R) AG, Cologne, (ISIN DE0005471007 // Symbol
547100), previously antwerpes ag, has achieved sales totalling 2.9 million euro
in the 2nd quarter of the financial year 2005. This corresponds to an increase
of 5 per cent when compared to the same period in the previous year (2.8 million
euro).

In the first six months sales increased by 6 per cent, rising from 5.2 million
euro to 5.5 million euro. In the DocCheck(R) division a sales increase of 55 per
cent was achieved, rising from 2.0 million euro to 3.1 million euro when
compared to the first six months of 2004. Sales in the Communication division
totalled 2.4 million euro which represented a drop of 24 per cent when compared
to sales in the same period in the previous year. Profits from several new
business leads in the 2nd quarter will pave the way for a slight recovery by the
Communication division in the second half of the year.

Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) amount to 0.11 million euro in the 2nd
quarter, compared to 0.08 million euro in the previous year's quarter. Therefore
in the first six months of 2005 an EBIT of 0.12 million euro (0.09 million euro)
was achieved.

As a result of the special dividend of 14.8 million euro and the lower interest
yield, the result from ordinary business activities dropped slightly by
0.10 million euro, going down from 0.49 million euro to 0.39 million euro.
Profit per share amounts to 4 cent.

With 16.1 million euro or 2.73 euro per share, the total amount of liquid funds
and current-asset securities achieved the same level as that for the 1st quarter
of 2005 (16.1 million euro). The dividend payment of 0.4 million euro or 8 cent
per share on 16.06.2005 has already been taken into account here.
