Nuremberg, July 28, 2005 - As stated by the TA Triumph-Adler AG Management
Board, the company considers itself obliged to write off the silent
participation in the Selltec Media Solutions GmbH, Hannover, which was entered
into as part of the sale of the CAN.media group.
The silent participation in Selltec Media Solutions, whose book value amouts to
3.4 million euros according to the Management Board, resulted from the sale of
the CAN.media group. This sale represented a decisive step in TA Triumph-Adler
AG dissolving its second most important business area, namely Presentation and
Media Technology.

CAN.media was sold to a strategic investor in August 2004, who merged CAN.media
into one of its companies which was also specialised in media integration. The
purchase price was partly effected by the granting of the already mentioned
silent participation. Now the Hannover based company, Selltec Media Solutions,
has filed for insolvency. TA Triumph Adler will not participate in any salvaging
measures due to strategic reasons, because, as stated, TA Triumph-Adler has
withdrawn from that business sector - Presentation and Media Technology - where
Selltec operates.

On August 11, 2005 the company will report about the business development and
the results of the first half-year 2005.
