Cuxhaven, 16th March 2011 - The wind farm developer, PNE WIND AG (ISIN
DE000A0JBPG2), announces changes in its Board of Directors. Concluding a
successful business phase Bernd Paulsen, previously responsible for operations
(COO), will leave the company on 31st March 2011, having taken on new challenges
with a stronger focus on the technical area. As new COO, the Supervisory Board
today has appointed Markus Lesser, who has more than 10 years of experience in
the renewable energies sector. In addition, Jörg Klowat, formerly head of PNE
WIND AGs Finance and Accounting division, has been appointed Director of Finance
(CFO) effective from 1st April 2011. Martin Billhardt remains responsible for
company and project financing, sales, corporate strategy, national and
international company strategy, Investor Relations, Public Relations, Personnel
and Holdings.

Explanatory text

Jörg Klowat has been active in PNE WIND AGs finance division since August 1999.
He has been responsible for the areas of Finance and Accounting and Risk
Management for several years. The graduate in economics was appointed by the
Supervisory Board as Director of Finance with effect from 1st April 2011.

Markus Lesser can look back on more than 20 years of experience in the
international energy sector, of which more than 10 years were in renewable
energies. There, as General Manager and Sales Director with the wind energy
systems manufacturer, Nordex AG, he was initially responsible for project
safety, the turnkey construction of wind farms and sales of wind energy systems
in Central, Southeast and Eastern Europe. Thereafter, Markus Lesser was
director, (COO), of the Renergys Group AG in Zürich/Switzerland. In this
position, he managed the Renergys Group’s technical and operational business.
Most recently, Markus Lesser was active in the business management of Epuron
GmbH. Here, he was variously responsible for project developments, construction
and the operational management of wind farm projects, especially in Europe,
Asia, South America and Australia and also in the offshore wind energy sector.
With effect from 1st May 2011, he will be responsible as director of PNE WIND
AGs operational business and project development.
