On 10 February 2010, S&T System Integration & Technology Distribution AG has
published its preliminary results for the business year 2009 and for the fourth
quarter 2009 via the euro adhoc (EANS) information system. After this
publication, the requirement for additional provisions for risks in BS (Business
Solutions) in relation to certain large-scale projects in Germany, Switzerland
and Romania has materialized.
These provisions will give rise to an estimated EBIT impairment from 0.3 Mio
Euro to -3.4 Mio Euro for the business year 2009 with a corresponding EBIT
impairment for the fourth quarter 2009 from 1.6 Mio Euro to -2,1 Mio Euro. Sales
revenues will remain largely unchanged. The presentation of the annual results
2009 is planned for 08 April 2010.
Subsequent work in relation to the above mentioned projects are also expected to
have an adverse effect on the results for the first quarter 2010. However, based
on an increasingly improved order book and market situation the company expects
a stabilization from the second quarter 2010 onwards and anticipates a positive
result from the second half of the year 2010 onwards.
