On behalf of the below mentioned entities we have been notified of the
following:

1. According to section 21 para. 1 WpHG Barclays Plc, London, United
Kingdom, has exceeded the thresholds of 3% and 5% of the voting rights in
Klöckner & Co SE on 18th September 2009 and amounts to 6.63% on this date,
corresponding to 4,411,762 shares with voting rights.
6,29%, correponding to 4,181,622 of the voting rights in Klöckner & Co SE were
attributed to Barclay Plc pursuant to section 22 para. 1 sentence 1 no. 1 WpHG
via subsidiaries, including the direct subsidiary Barclays Bank plc which held
6,02%, corresponding to 4,000,130 shares with voting rights. Further 0,35% of
the voting rights in Klöckner & Co SE, corresponding to 230,140 shares with
voting rights were attributed to Barclays Plc according to section 22 para. 1
sentence 1 no. 6 in connection with section 22 para. 1 sentence 2 WpHG.

2. According to section 21 para. 1 WpHG Barclays Plc, London, United
Kingdom, has fallen below the thresholds of 5% and 3% of the voting rights in
Klöckner & Co SE on 22nd September 2009 and amounts to 0.61% on this date,
corresponding to 409,178 shares with voting rights.
0.27% of voting rights in Klöckner & Co SE, corresponding to 181,622 shares with
voting rights, were attributed to Barclays Plc according to section 22 para. 1
sentence 1 no. 1 WpHG and 0,34% of the voting rights in Klöckner & Co SE,
corresponding to 227,556 shares with voting rights, were attributed to Barclays
Plc according to section 22 para. 1 sentence 1 no. 6 in connection with section
22 para. 1 sentence 2 WpHG.

3. According to section 21 para. 1 WpHG Barclays Bank Plc, London, United
Kingdom, has exceeded the thresholds of 3% and 5% of the voting rights in
Klöckner & Co SE on 18th September 2009 and amounts to 6.63% on this date,
corresponding to 4,411,762 shares with voting rights.
0,27% of the voting rights in Klöckner & Co SE, correponding to 181,492 shares
