accordance with Section 21 Paragraph 1 of the German Securities Trading Act
(WpHG) that its share of voting rights in Symrise AG fell below the 3 %
threshold on May 15, 2012 and as of this day amounts to 2.96 % (3,502,220 voting
right). These votes are attributed to it in accordance with Section 22 Paragraph
1 Sentence 1 No. 6 in accordance with Section 22 Paragraph 1 Sentence 2 of the
