on February 17, 2012 pursuant to Section 21 Paragraph 1 of the German Securities
Trading Act (WpHG) that its share of voting rights in Symrise AG exceeded the 3
% threshold on February 13, 2012 and as of this day amounts to 3.01 %. This
corresponds to 3,556,942 voting rights. All voting rights are apportioned in
accordance with 22 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 No. 6 in conjunction with Section 22
Paragraph 1 Sentence 2 of the German Securities Trading Act (WpHG). 0.01 %
(13,476 votes) of these voting rights is also attributed in accordance with
Section 22 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 No. 1 of the German Securities Trading Act
(WpHG).
